CUSTOMER NOTICE -  30th September 2025

Lerwick District Heating is dealing with a small leak on the network in the Ronald Street area of town. Unfortunately, we need to valve off this area and stop the water flow in order to access the pipe and carry out the repair. 

This means that, with immediate effect, there will be no hot water supply to the properties in King Harald Street, Breiwick Road, Knab and surrounding areas. 

Our engineers are on site and will work to complete the repair as quickly as possible.  We will provide further updates throughout the day and aim to have service restored by late afternoon, if not sooner. 

The rest of twon is unaffected and supply will continue as normal. 

We apologise again for the short notice and any inconvenience caused.  The leak was identified this morning and it is best to resolve it as quickly as possible.
