Thursday 28th August 2025 - ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE

Lerwick District Heating will be carrying out some essential maintenance to the district heating network in Lerwick on Thursday 28th August 2025 between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

This will mean there will be no hot water or heating available during this period. The hot water will be noticeable immediately, whereas the heating loss will be progressive depending on the existing heat stored within your building. 

WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE THE SUPPLY RESTORED SOONER, BUT THIS IS DEPENDANT ON PROGRESS ON SITE.

This is necessary to undertake some essential maintenance on the district heating network. When the main line is made live again, your system should restart automatically.
