🔥 How Does It Work?

Our prepayment meters use a smart card to top up your balance. Here’s how it works:

1. Take your smart card to one of the following locations:
   • Post Office counter at Clocktower in Bolts
   • Mareel
   • Sound Service Station
2. Add credit at the counter.
3. Place your card on top of the prepayment unit at home — the credit transfers automatically!

💰 Prepayment Tariff

• Charge: 10p per kWh
  • This is slightly higher than the standard tariff but includes elements for standing charges and other costs.
• No installation charge for prepayment meters!
